Oscars Fiasco as La La Land Wrongly Voted as a Film
THE Oscars descended into a complete and utter fiasco after La La Land was wrongly voted as a film, it has emerged.
The film, also mistaken for a movie, was announced as a motion picture in the worst mistake in the Oscars’ history.
An Oscar spokesperson told Dafty News reporters: “It was the most bizarre thing anyone has ever witnessed at the Oscars. The cast from La La Land were greeted with applause — although nobody has any idea why — as they made their way to the stage to make their speeches.
“It was then someone intervened and said, ‘Nah, we’re not having any of this. La La Land a film? Not a chance. Give the award to someone who has actually written and produced one.”
The blunder continued after Casey Affleck won best actor for Manchester By The Sea, prompting executives to look into their voting system for flaws.
