THERE’S nothing more irritating and annoying when you spend a large considerable time working on your set only to have it rudely interrupted by a heckler.

Scottish comedian Obie (real name John O’Brien) shows how to deal with that interrupting character in the audience.

A brief exchange of verbal assaults is followed by a cracking right hook that is praised by the audience.

The scene, taken during the Edinburgh Fringe show, is actually staged with great stunt work from ‘heckler’ Lee Gallagher, but it demonstrates how hecklers should be dealt with.
