Tributes Pour in for Wheelie Bin Hurt in Storm Doris
A WHEELIE BIN was recovering this morning after its lid was slightly damaged after Storm Doris swept the country, it has been reported.
The bin, thought to be a black one, was half empty after its fortnightly refuse collect only days ago, was seen slightly leaning forward after a 10mph wind blew into its side.
Witnesses say the night was horrendous with neighbours reporting of a crisp poke strewn across a busy main road, much to the horror of onlookers.
A spokesperson for Storm Doris said this morning: “The aftermath has been terrible. Rescue workers battled through the night to secure a leaf back onto a tree and a plastic bag was recovered after swirling around a drain. Reports say the bag was most likely an ALDI or a LIDL bag so was not too relevant.
